The FARM

& Limit Up Lamb

The vineyard, orchard, and farm are our home where we raise our children, pets, and livestock.

Being farmers first, we go to great lengths to ensure our practices of growing the highest quality fruit while also preserving the health and sustainability of our land. Incorporating organic and biodynamic practices, we utilize lamb in our vineyard to create healthier soil for our grapes to grow. In return the lamb have a healthy cover crop of grasses and woodlands to graze on during the different seasons.

The benefit of sheep in the vineyard is well known; however, there are also specific breeds better for culinary purposes. The black headed Dorper breed we have on our vineyard is a shedding breed, losing its wool each season. The lanolin that wool produces will affect the taste of the meat giving it a gamey taste. Due to the lack of wool our Dorper sheep produce, our strict control of bloodlines, grazing efforts, and finishing the lambs on grain ensure proper marbling — the quality of this meat is sure to impress!

Join our Limit Up Lamb Club for our first harvest boxes of USDA Certified, vineyard grazed lamb. Be sure to check out our lamb recipes and wine pairings too!
